Cleaning with white vinegar is a cheap and effective way to clean your home. It can be used in many different ways, reducing the need to purchase numerous different cleaning products and cutting down on the number of chemicals in your home. It’s one of the strategies I adopted early on in my mission to be mortgage-free and I’ve stuck with it ever since.
So we’re now 8 weeks into lockdown in the UK and I’m sure many of us have had a lot more time on our hands to do things around the home. My social media accounts seem to be split between people who have been binge watching Netflix and others who have gone into cleaning and decluttering overdrive.
I’ve still been working from home, but I’ve also had time to reflect on the changes I’ve made over time. Many of these have helped me to save money and live a healtheir life. One of those is the way I do my laundry. My skin is quite sensitive and prone to dryness, itchiness and flare ups, so I’m very careful with the detergents I use. Once I find a product that I’m happy with, I tend to stick to it.
